Yesterday morning, I woke up earlier than usual.
My body was restless, my mind already busy before the day even began.
I know God will take care of my needs.
I’ve seen it — over and over again.
I’ve lived through moments where provision came at the very last minute, perfectly on time.
And yet, I’m still human.
Since quitting my job, there is no longer a fixed date to wait for a salary.
No predictable number arriving at the end of the month.
And that sometimes triggers a quiet anxiety I didn’t expect.
That morning, one worry stood out clearly :
my daughter’s tuition is coming up soon, and I don’t yet see how it will be covered.
Even with faith, worry can creep in.
Even with experience, fear can still whisper.
I opened my Bible, not looking for answers — just grounding.
And as I read, I felt God remind me gently:
Do not worry. I will take care of your needs.
It wasn’t new information.
I already knew this truth.
But somehow, hearing it again felt different.
That, to me, is the miracle.
The miracle is not that worry never comes.
The miracle is that God still speaks when it does.
Sometimes we feel ashamed for worrying, especially when we “should know better.”
But this moment reminded me that faith is not the absence of anxiety —
it’s the decision to return to God when anxiety shows up.
I realized something important : as long as I am still being reminded by God’s Word, I am not lost. As long as I can still hear His voice correcting, comforting, and anchoring me, I am still walking with Him.
There was a time in my life when fear controlled my body completely.
Stress and depression manifested physically.
I was in and out of hospitals, exhausted, sick, overwhelmed.
My body could barely carry the weight of constant worry.
Today, the worry may still knock — but it no longer owns me. I may not have a salary schedule anymore, but I have a relationship with a God who has proven Himself faithful. And being able to hear Him remind me again — that is a miracle I will never take lightly.
